No matter what, we work with small interior or housing complex, our knowledge of scale and space will serve the idea to improve people's life and behaviour.
Follow up a project from start to finish is a challenge, but it lets is understand clearly the final goal: client´s smile.
Most of the time, a project is a translation of what people DON’T SAY. . “We want to establish a new place to eat, but we are new in the city”
—-> even if new, Your place will be recognised: you are unique. Your project will be unique because is customised for you. . “We want to offer a modern asian food”
—-> Scandinavian and Asian culture have in common the slowness. The goal is to express that in the interior concept. Color and material are combined for a slow experience of the space. Wood, soft palette and welcoming atmosphere are familiar elements, so people will feel comfortable inside. “We want to offer our food to different customers” ——> The space is small, yes, but it has 2 clear different rooms. Let’s think how to make them different to attract different type of customers. For example, let’s create a sitting area in front of this big window, for someone that needs a pit stop for lunch during working time. From outside, people will also see your customers enjoy the food and they will be attracted to try your place.
They are just few example of how translate people’s silent needs and wishes. I strongly believe that, a project is based on listening and training yourself to transform those silent words to unique space.
Each presentation has to provide clear drawings, good idea´s visualization and most important, has to shape the project on client´s needs and budget. What I learned in the last years of working close with different types of client, is not about what I personally like, but to provide them a service, a good and helpful project.
It´s important to be creative, they call us for that.
But they ask us also to be focus, consistent, and be good managing our time and resources. We need to be sure to deliver a good project that fits their wishes, needs and time (mostly money).
It’s a journey of interaction with people, empathy and listening. I push them to think what makes them feel good, how is the space they want, the sensation behind and how they want to use it.
And once you work WITH them, caring and sharing your expertise, they will always smile and came back.
